Export and backups
Getting your data out, and how it's kept safe.
The accounting workbook
Settings → Export downloads a full Excel workbook for your bookkeeper. The server prepares it, so you need a connection.

The workbook is a snapshot, made for reading. It doesn’t update when you correct something later, and it can’t be imported back. The Overview sheet shares costs by margin, falling back to units sold when it has to.
Where your data is
Your bakery’s data is stored on servers in the EU, and a copy is kept on each device you’re signed in on. Only people with a login at your bakery can see it. BreadWorks support can open a bakery to help with a problem.
Backups
A backup of the database is made every night and stored separately from the server.
