Costs

The Costs section holds everything you pay every month regardless of how much you bake, such as rent, insurance or software. Add each one with a description and an amount per month. The list shows the monthly total.

How a cost counts

A monthly amount is spread over the days of each month. If a cost starts on the 16th of a 30-day month, half of it counts for that month.

Unlike ingredient prices, a cost has a strict start: nothing counts before its first date. A new rent contract shouldn’t show up in months before you had it.

Change an amount

Press the amount and enter the new value with a From date. Past periods keep the old amount.

End a cost

Archive a cost that has stopped and choose the date it ends. It stops counting from that date, earlier months stay as they were, and you can restore it later.
