BreadWorks

For small bakeries

Know what every loaf earns.

BreadWorks keeps your recipes, ingredient prices, bakes and sales in one place, and shows the margin on everything you make. It keeps working when the kitchen has no signal.

  • Phone and computer
  • Works offline
  • English and Italiano

Three steps, then it's routine.

  1. 1

    Enter what goes in.

Your ingredients with their prices, your recipes, your monthly costs and your team.

  2. 2

Log what you bake and sell.

A few taps per product on the calendar, from your phone, at the bench.

  3. 3

    See what's left.

Revenue, costs and profit for any period, down to each product.

Prices change. Your history doesn't.

Every price, recipe, rent and salary in BreadWorks starts from a date. Last month's figures are calculated with last month's numbers, so a new supplier invoice never quietly rewrites the past.

Made a typo? Corrections are a separate step, and BreadWorks tells you which figures they touch.

How dates and history work

Ingredients are only half the story.

The Overview adds your rent, utilities and pay, and counts the flour in what didn't sell. You choose how those costs are shared over your products: by margin, by units sold or by baking time.

Reading the Overview

Built for a kitchen with bad wifi.

Your whole bakery lives on your device, so screens open at once and nothing waits for a connection. Changes sync in the background. When two people edit the same thing, you get to decide what stays.

Offline and sync

Short answers.

Does it need an internet connection?

Not for daily work. Everything you enter is saved on the device and syncs when a connection returns. You need to be online for your first sign-in, for generating a new Overview and for the export.

How do I get an account?

Accounts are set up for each bakery by hand for now, so there is no sign-up form. Once your bakery is set up, you sign in with your email and password.

Does it work on my phone?

Yes, and on a computer. It runs in the browser and can be installed on your home screen like an app. Phones get a layout of their own.

Can several people use it at once?

Yes. Each person has their own login and device. If two people change the same thing, BreadWorks shows both values and lets you decide.

If flour gets more expensive, do my old margins change?

No. A new price starts from the date you give it, and earlier sales keep the price that applied then.

Which languages does it speak?

English and Italian. Each person picks their own in Settings.

Can I get my data out?

Yes. Settings → Export downloads a full Excel workbook whenever you're online.

Where is my data kept?

On servers in the EU, with a copy on every device you've signed in on and a backup made every night.

The bake's on. Let's count it.
